Our Mission
The Jewish Orthodox Women’s Medical Association (JOWMA) provides free health education to the entire Orthodox Jewish community and supports a network of current and future Jewish female physician leaders.
Our vision is a Jewish community who has easy access to culturally-sensitive and relevant health information, and can make informed medical decisions. Additionally, we envision a connection between all Orthodox women physicians and physician trainees.

The mission of JOWMA’s Teen Health committee is to educate teenagers and help their families navigate this time period.

The networking committee is dedicated to creating unique in-person and virtual events specifically tailored to the unique needs of our membership.
Grand Rounds
The goals of the monthly JOWMA Grand Rounds are to showcase our physician members and provide continuing medical education credits for physicians.

JOWMA has expanded into the domain of wellness with the hopes of providing medically conscious, evidence-based recommendations for everyday living.
