We partnered with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to create the 100% free and confidential JOWMA vaccination hotline to increase access to the MMR vaccine.
2019
We expanded our original hotline to create the JOWMA Preventative Health Education Hotline (929-4-GEZUNT) and the JOWMA Preventative Health Podcast series (available on all major platforms) that features up to date, reliable and accurate health information. To date, the podcast and hotline has received thousands of calls and listens.

We created a membership platform and currently have a membership base of over 300 Jewish female physicians, trainees, and pre-medical students from across the United States and Internationally.

We formed the JOWMA Women's Health Committee Webinar Series that targets a wide audience of women from Jewish Orthodox communities to fill in the gaps of knowledge regarding the basics in Women’s Health to empower women and enable them to recognize disease so they can seek medical attention with optimal timing.

We launched the JOWMA Grand Rounds virtual series that showcases our physician members and provides free CME credits to our members.
